Our current era is all about entrepreneurship and that means having the right branding is critical to get noticed. While a logo is one of the first steps, it can be costly. That’s why a logo design app will help you create a professional logo at a fraction of the cost while sending the right message to your target market.
Since technologies are always evolving, I looked at Tailor Brands’ logo design app to create my logo.
Logo Design App Tutorial: Getting the creative juices flowing
To start the creation process, add your business name and tagline. After this, enter your industry details. The app’s intuitive nature makes it easy to use, takes a huge chunk of the guesswork out of the mix, and doesn’t take hours on end just to get your hands on a logo.
Now you get to decide what type of logo you want. If you go with an Icon Based logo, you have extra choices of either an Abstract icon or choosing your own from the numerous designs they have in their library.
The next step is to choose which styles to show your brand personality the best. Select up to 3 different styles that you can later narrow down to the one that represents your corporate identity.
I’m chuffed that it generates business cards and social media post designs too. That means that it’s easier to keep branding consistent because you’re able to match your branding to your logo.
This app automatically generates a few layouts on the left-hand side of your screen. Once you’ve made your choice, begin editing.
Because customization is important for brand recognition, changing styles, fonts, and colors are critical. Change color shades by choosing the RGB color (aka Hex code) to represent your brand. Or, if you’d rather play it safe, the color pallet provides the best color matches. Also play around with the styles, fonts, and size to get the right look and feel.
Logo Design Tip:
Use color psychology to help you choose the color that will clearly communicate your brand values.
Of course, the logomaker is limited seeing that you can’t add curved text or play around with the elements or its position. If the Developers at Tailor Brands could improve this, users would be so much closer to having one-of-a-kind logos.
Logo designed: My latest creative idea is born
After less than 15 minutes, my logo was done. While it oozes minimalism, the modern font and colors communicate royalty. And, the gold-ish color communicates the luxury that the brand represents.
Who's the Logomaker for?
The logo design app is suitable for :
- Online Stores
- Anyone looking for a good-looking logo with no design-skills and a small budget.
